We are often faced with the choice of deciding between two different paths, thoughts or actions: (1) the path that corresponds to God’s goodness and makes us and others happy and (2) the path that takes us away from God and life because God cannot be united with wrongdoing. Sadly, we cannot always see the long-term consequences of wrong decisions at a first glance. If at the beginning of the path we could already see the deadly effects, we would surely make a different choice.
