Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Psalm 23 Verse 4

Sometimes the path of our life leads through dark valleys. They are stony, confusing and painful. One might ask, why all this? Why do I have to walk this path? But in the midst of the dark valley we feel the shepherd‘s right hand in our hand. He holds us tight and he holds his rod up high to protect us from danger. His presence comforts us. Therefore we are not afraid. Neither now nor in the future.
